Code of Federal Regulationsยง 368.7Requirement to carry certificate of registration in the vehicle.A holder of a Certificate of Registration must maintain a copy of the Certificate of Registration in any vehicle providing transportation service within the scope of the Certificate, and make it available upon request to any State or Federal authorized inspector or enforcement officer.
