Mark Herbert, a Ruston native, has 14 years of congressional experience, having worked for U.S. Representative Jerry Huckaby and U.S. Senator John Breaux. Mark has accrued a broad range of experience having served in Washington, D.C., Monroe and Baton Rouge. Mark has also worked for several Louisiana state officials and also the Arkansas Democrat-Gazzette newspaper. Mark is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas with a B.A. in Communications.
Darlene M. Manuel

Darlene Manuel, a native of Sulphur, Louisiana, specializes in casework. Prior to joining the Landrieu office, she was a secretary for the Calcasieu Parish School Board Infant Toddler Preschool Program, where she worked with families of special needs children. Previously, Manuel was a supervisor for Kelly Services. She attended McNeese State University, where she majored in Office Administration.
