TTE 015 JCTD Execution (How to Run A JCTD)

Description
Facilitated training Workshops (COHORT) focused on providing prospective and current Joint Capabilities Technology Demonstrations (JCTD) Integrated Management Teams (IMT) the tools to be successful in the formulation, planning and/or execution of their specific JCTDs. Workshops are tailored to meet each IMT’s training objectives, JCTD knowledge, planning maturity and execution timeline. Workshops are available to complement the entire JCTD life-cycle; JCTD Proposal Development, detailed JCTD Planning and Documentation (Implementation), and JCTD execution (integration, assessment, and transition). Workshops also address the necessary programmatic, technical, operational, and transition management skills and know-how students need to become effective, productive members of the JCTD execution team.
Objectives
  • Understanding of what a JCTD is and the “life cycle” of a JCTD
  • Understanding of the unique programmatic, technical, operational, and transition management challenges of JCTDs
  • Capability to plan, program, and budget for an JCTD
  • Developing a JCTD proposal package
  • Identifying and developing documentation requirements for a JCTD
  • Planning technical integration activities, tests and demonstrations for a JCTD
  • Planning operational experiments, demonstrations, and utility assessments for a JCTD
  • Planning for sustainment/transition of a JCTD
  • Target Attendees
    JCTD IMT members and supporting personnel, to include contractors, who are involved in the formulation, planning, managing, executing, &/or supporting of a JCTD. Workshops are designed to train in-tact teams, working on the same JCTD.
