As the number of women accessing VA care has increased, so has recognition of the importance of conducting research with women Veterans.

Until recently, little attention has been devoted to issues specific to conducting research with women Veterans. The increased use of VA care by women provides important and unprecedented research opportunities. The aim of this program is to address some of the opportunities and challenges associated with conducting research with women veterans, and to provide concrete suggestions for working with this population.
