Colonel T. J. Jamison
COL T.J. Jamison received his commission from Marion Military Institute in 1985 followed by a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University. Upon completion of the Aviation Officer Basic Course he served as an Aero Scout Platoon Leader and Detachment Commander in the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fulda, West Germany; deployments include Operation Provide Comfort and Positive Force. He went on to Company Command in the 1-229th Attack Battalion Fort Bragg, NC followed by an assignment to the Saudi Arabian Armed Forces, Riyadh as the Senior Aviation Advisor. Promoted to Major he served as the Attack Cavalry Trainer, National Training Center, Fort Irwin, CA.
He returned to the cavalry as the Operations Officer and Executive officer for the 4th Squadron 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Polk, LA from 1999 to 2002 followed by a joint assignment with JTF-6, Fort Bliss, TX.
He commanded 4-6 Air Cavalry Squadron, Fort Lewis, WA from 2006 to 2008 and deployed in support of OIF 07-09; attached to the 1st Combat Aviation Brigade in direct support of the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment operating throughout MND-N. Post Squadron Command he served as the I Corps Aviation Officer and most recently completed the U.S. Army War College, Carlisle Barracks.
Awards include the Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal V device with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Commendation Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, Humanitarian Service Medal, Valorous Unit Award, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Combat Action Badge, Master Aviator Wings, Ranger Tab, Airborne Wings, and Air Assault Wings.

Command Sergeant Major Larry D. Farmer
Command Sergeant Major Larry D. Farmer is a native of San Diego, California. He entered the US Army in February 1983. He attended basic training at Ft McClellan, AL, and completed advance individual training at Fort Rucker, AL, where he was awarded the MOS 71P (Aviation Operations Specialist). CSM Farmer has held numerous leadership positions throughout his career, from Squad Leader to Command Sergeant Major.
CSM Farmer's assignments include, HHC 82d Combat Aviation Battalion, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; HHC, 82d Aviation Brigade, Fort Bragg North Carolina; HHC, Combined Field Army, Camp Red Cloud, Korea; HHC, 6th Aviation Brigade, Fort Wainwright, Alaska; HHC, 4th Battalion 123rd Aviation Regiment, Fort Wainwright, Alaska; HHC, 2d Battalion, 82d Aviation Brigade, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; 1SG HHC, 82d Aviation Brigade; 1SG HHC, 12th Aviation Brigade, Giebelstadt, Germany; United States Army Sergeant’s Major Academy, Fort Bliss, Texas; G3/5/7 AVN SGM US Forces Command, Fort McPherson, Georgia, CSM 2-2 Aviation Regiment “Wild Cards” Seongnam, Seoul Korea, CSM 122d ASB (Atlas), 82d CAB Ft Bragg, NC and is currently the 82d CAB CSM.
His military and civilian education includes being a graduate of Class 54, United States Army Sergeant’s Major Academy; First Sergeant’s Course; Command Sergeant Major Course; Advance Noncommissioned Officer Course; Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course; Primary Leadership Development Course; Aviation Safety Prevention Management Course; Battle Staff Course; Master Fitness Course; Airborne Training; Jumpmaster Course, and the Master Jumpmaster Course. He holds an Associate in Business Management from Excelsior University and is completing his Bachelors of Arts from the University of Thomas Edison State Collage.
