I was born in Chicago Illinois. I received a BA from the University of Central Arkansas in May of 2004 and was commissioned the same day as an Adjutant General Officer. I am a graduate of the Field Artillery Officer Basic Course and the Adjutant General Captains’ Career Course.
My past assignements inlcude: Vilseck Gemany, where I served as a Fire Support Officer in the 1st Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regimen; Battery Platoon Leader and Executive Officer in 5th Battalion, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment; Fort Hood Texas, where I served as the Battalion S-1 OIC. My most recent deployment was to Iraq January 2011, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
My awards include: the Army Soldiers Medal, the Army Accomendation Medal w/2OLC, the Army Acheievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the GWOT service medal, the Army Overseas Service Medal, the Army Sevice Medal, and the Army Parachutist Badge.
I am married to the former Ms. Machele Phillips and we have 2 children; Damia 5 yrs and Donald Jr. 2yrs.
A native of Englewood, FL, Jason T. Johnson enlisted into the United States Army in 1996 as a Military Police (MP) Officer. He completed One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at the United States Army Military Police School at Fort McClellan, AL.
First Sergeant Johnson has served in the following leadership positions: MP Team Leader, Desk Sergeant, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Drill Sergeant, MP Instructor, and the S-3 Operations Noncommissioned Officer for the United States Army Drill Sergeant School. First Sergeant Johnson’s assignments include the 2nd Infantry Division, 2nd MP Company, Camp Stanley, Korea; Fort Myer MP Company, Fort Myer, VA and Fort McNair, Washington DC; 2nd Battalion, 485th Infantry Regiment (108th Training Command), 2nd Battalion, 108th MP Regiment (80th Training Command); and the United States Army Drill Sergeant School, and currently assigned to Delta Company 1st Battalion 61st Infantry Regiment (BCT).
First Sergeant Johnson is a graduate of three levels of the Noncommissioned Officer Education System that include the Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course and the Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course. Other courses include the United States Army Drill Sergeant School, Modern Army Combatives Level I and II, Army Basic Instructor Course, Small Group Instructor Training Course, Physical Security Course, Security Managers Course, Protective Services and Antiterrorism Driving Course, Cadre Trainers Course, and the Company Commander and First Sergeant’s Course.
