Captain Liley

Captain Joshua S. Liley is a native of Columbia, South Carolina and received his commission as an Infantry Officer from North Carolina State University in December 2007.

As a Second Lieutenant, he served as the Gold Bar Recruiter and MS III instructor at Duke University for four months before attending the Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course at Fort Benning, Georgia in the summer of 2008. Upon successful completion of his schooling, 2LT Liley was assigned to Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 13th Infantry Regiment where he served as the Executive Officer for 27 months.

Captain Liley’s military awards and decorations include: National Defense Service Medal, Army Achievement Medal (2 OLC), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Expert Infantryman Badge and Parachutist Badge.

He is married and has one child.

First Sergeant Cox

First Sergeant James M. Cox, a Bolivar, Missouri native, enlisted in the United States Army June 3rd 2002. He attended Basic Training and AIT at Fort Benning, GA.

First Sergeant Cox has held numerous positions throughout his Infantry career. His duty assignments include Infantry Rifleman, Fort Benning, GA; 60mm Mortar Team Leader, 60mm Squad Leader, 81mm Squad Leader, Rifle Squad Leader, Section Sergeant, S-3 NCOIC, Rifle Platoon sergeant and Battalion Mortar Platoon Sergeant, Fort Bragg, N.C.; Drill Sergeant, Senior Drill Sergeant and Company First Sergeant, Fort Jackson S.C.

First Sergeant Cox’s’ military schooling includes the following: Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Advance Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Ranger School, Basic Airborne Course, Combat Lifesaver Course, Casualty Assistance and Notification Course, Assist Course, Total Army Instructor Course, Drill Sergeant School, Infantry Mortar Leaders Course, Jerry Barnhardt Tactical Shooting Course, Combative Level I & II, Commander’s Safety Course, IET Company Commander & First Sergeant Course.
