Part-time Air National Guard Careers

Benefits include:
     *Up to $20,000 cash signing bonus for selected careers
     *$350 per month through the Montgomery GI Bill Kicker program
     *Up to $20,000 with the Student Loan repayment program
     *Reimbursement of up to 50% tuition per semester, not to exceed $1,500 per academic year at any college, university and vo-tech school in Michigan.

Requirements for entry into the Air National Guard are as follows:

Non Prior Service

-Must be between the ages of 17-39
-High School graduate or GED (minimum)
-Must meet height/weight requirements
-Passing ASVAB score of 31 QT
-Pass full health screening at MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station)
-Past law violations (you will need to speak to a recruiter)
-Past drug usage (you will need to speak to a recruiter)
-You can be a single parent

Prior Service:

-Can be eligible for enlistment over age 40 (You must be able to obtain 20 years of service total before age 60)
-Must have a valid RE code on DD 214 or NGB 22
-Must meet height/weight requirements
-Passing ASVAB score of 31 QT
-Pass full health screening at MEPS
-Law violations (same for non prior)
-Drug usage (same for non prior)
-You can be a single parent
