Background

With the full implementation of Executive Order 18 “Leading by Example towards a Clean Energy Economy and Sustainable Natural Environment,” Delaware is committed to benchmarking and tracking all state buildings and reducing their energy consumption. The Executive Order 18 Workgroup will continue to implement the energy reduction plan via various means including benchmarking and tracking using EPA’s Portfolio Manager, performance contracting, state-funded energy efficiency and renewable energy projects and state employee behavior change campaigns.
