Green Campus Partners, LLC (GCP), a portfolio company of Hudson Clean Energy Partners, is a clean energy project development and investment firm with significant expertise in performance contract financing, project finance, project management, strategic planning and asset and portfolio management that enables its clients to achieve their energy and facility infrastructure objectives and improve enterprise value by implementing or optimizing energy efficiency, renewable energy and distributed generation projects. GCP provides unique project finance capabilities, including transaction structuring, primary capital investment and energy capital markets expertise.

Markets Served

Green Campus Partners began by serving the municipal, state and local government, education—both K-12 and higher education—and the hospital and healthcare markets and has now expanded its successful model to a broad range of building types and institutions. GCP concentrates on building owners that have relatively strong balance sheets and credit, or where the project merits and economics support and enhance the underlying credit.

GCP has also designed a solution for facilities with on-site boilers and power generators that are contemplating central energy plant retrofits and new installations that will reduce emissions, save energy, and simultaneously upgrade infrastructure without upfront capital investment.

Products and Services

GCP works with building owners to develop a financial structure best suited to their particular financial and operational needs. GCP will design a custom financial structure that may include taxable debt, tax-exempt debt, equity, and tax credits as well as long-term service agreements that provide the benefits of investment in energy assets without incurring additional liabilities.
