AOML Employees Give a Record $28,450 to Charities

As a Federal agency, AOML annually participates in the Combined Federal Campaign, the only authorized fundraising campaign in the federal workplace. In the 2011 Campaign, federal and contract employees at AOML donated a total of $28,450 to charitable organizations. The 2011 total represents a new donation record for AOML employees and is a significant contribution to those in need.

AOML employees have a long history of generously giving to local, national, and international charities that participate in the Campaign, such as the American Red Cross, the Humane Society, and Lighthouse for the Blind through the Combined Federal Campaign. Donations from AOML are combined with those from other federal offices in south Florida and regularly exceed $2 Million dollars in total. The campaign is organized and conducted locally through a joint effort between the South Florida Federal Executive Board and the United Way of Palm Beach County.
