| Office of Assisted Acquisition Services The Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS) program of the Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) offers value-added, customized, acquisition, project management, and financial management services for information technology and professional services solutions. AAS is comprised of 10 Client Support Centers: FEDSIM and 9 Regional offices with staff that are certified contracting, project management and financial management professionals located throughout United States, Europe, and Asia. AAS works with agency representatives to ensure requirements are met on time, within budget, at reduced risk resulting in best value solutions. Customized services are scalable and available when and where agencies need them. AAS's focus on financial management ensures customer agency’s money will be spent in accordance with appropriation, authorization and bona fide need rules. The suite of solutions AAS provides gives customer access to thousands of commercial partners and unlimited variety of information technology and professional services solutions. Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) A Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is a pre-competed, multiple-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract that federal agencies can use to buy cost-effective, innovative solutions for information technology (IT) requirements. GWACs provide access to IT solutions such as systems design, software engineering, information assurance, and enterprise architecture solutions. Small business set-aside GWACs also provide socioeconomic credit. | Office of Integrated Technology Services The Integrated Technology Services (ITS) organization combines many of GSA’s information technology (IT) programs into a single FAS business portfolio. ITS works with GSA’s industry partners and customer agencies to provide the best, most up to date IT and telecommunications products, services, and solutions. Customer agencies can choose from many acquisition vehicles and e-Tools to buy the information technology, and telecommunications products, services, and solutions that best fit their acquisition and mission needs. ITS also provides national program leadership across the 11 regional Network Services organizations. Part of ITS was once the former Federal Technology Service (FTS). The main components of ITS are:
Office of General Supplies and Services (IWAC) GSA's Integrated Workplace Acquisition Center (IWAC) provides assisted acquisition and project management services. These services are provided to customers for a standard fee and include cradle to grave order management. Assisted acquisitions are most successful when performed as partnerships between authorized contractors, the customer and IWAC with the mutual goal of providing timely delivery and installation of quality furnishings at the best possible prices. IWAC is always willing to explore new and better ways of doing business. If IWAC’s standard services do not meet customer requirements, IWAC can customize its services to reach optimal collaboration with customers.IWAC also awards and administers GSA Schedules 71, 72, and 71-IIK. These Schedules provide a full range of furnishings, security equipment, and related services for all office, residential, dormitory, industrial, healthcare and educational needs. |
