Surgical Critical Care Information

This is a one year program leading to the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgical Critical Care. The goals of this program are to develop the administrative, research, teaching and leadership skills of the fellow while at the same time refining and adding depth to their knowledge of the science of critical care.

In addition, an elective 2nd year of Trauma Surgery is offered with emphasis on trauma program development and administration, trauma and acute care surgery, advanced burn care, and the spectrum of combat casualty care from clinical practice to translational research. Applicants should designate their interest in the single year of Surgical Critical Care fellowship or the two-year Trauma/Critical Care training program.
