Why must you post your negative comments here? Go to the Navy website and promote them there. It’s just silly for you to feel you need to bring your negativity to this site.

Easy fix for this dilemma, every branch does BASIC drill in bootcamp even the Navy which isn’t advanced like the Silent Drill Team. They are in a specialty duty picked directly from the infantry and go too 8th and I Barracks for advanced drill training. Easyrider, you should know this if you served in any branch.

  • Leatherneck4

If anyone believes that the Navy bootcamp had the same rifle drill training as the Marine Silent Drill Team, then that person is an idiot!

  • Bokay19

Why doesn’t this team travel further across the U.S. and in most major cities? My husband is a Marine (once a Marine, always a Marine), and said this is an awesome thing to see in person, however they are never in my area.

Easyrider…Yeah right, you did that in Navy boot camp….if you did, it was with a bar of soap, in the shower, and you dropped it!!! Get back on the USS Never Sail and play, sailorboy.

Easyrider, only in your dreams could you even come close to being 1/4 as good as a basic Marine. You did that rifle drill in navy bootcamp……NEVER in your wildest dreams.

    Cruce?

  • Wfanjoy

I can’t see what time the drill begins tonight.  Can anyone help me out here?  There is a ceremony tonight at the Marine Baracks, right?

  • Debaum

When you argue with an idiot, you look like one yourself. Come on guys!  Isn’t the reason we are doing this more important than who has the bigger guns?  We are coming together in support of a great cause. Act like it.

Oh, and by the way…. this is coming from a Navy family member.

Yeah, but hands down, the Marine Silent Drill Platoon does it the best. I’ve seen them all, and nobody does it better.

  • Gunny

How did you do drill with the waterhose … or did you get some time to play with water guns to.

  • Marine

Sounds like a typical Navy cry baby… had to say it two times to be heard. U know what you did in your boot camp!
