Soldiers training at Camp Bullis, Texas, now have a Virtual Combat Convoy Trainer system to learn basic driving skills in the Humvee, as well as avoiding danger areas and shooting on the move.

Four separate Humvee systems are digitally linked. Each Humvee can hold five Soldiers.

The VCCT incorporates individual pneumatic small arms and crew-served weapons which can register hits. It also provides training on fire coordination between vehicles and calls for fire and close air support.

Almost all deploying Soldiers training at the AMEDD Center and School will train on the VCCT, as well as students in the Officer Basic Course and Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course.
