Operating Hours & Seasons

Canyonlands is open year-round, 24 hours a day. Each district has its own visitor center with operating hours that differ depending on the season.

Island in the Sky
The visitor center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with extended hours spring through fall. It will close Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Maze
The Hans Flat Ranger Station is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will close Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Needles
The visitor center is open daily February through early December from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed Thanksgiving Day and for an extended period during the winter.
