Course Description: COPS Hiring Program (CHP) Grants Management Online Training is an interactive web-based course designed to provide CHP recipients with information and instruction related to managing their grant and drawing down grant funds. The course is based on the Grant Owner’s Manual (GOM) and consists of interactive modules which explain each GOM section in detail. In addition to informative content, each training module contains interactive activities and quizzes that allow participants to test their knowledge and access specific guidance.  Utilizing a blended learning approach, COPS Hiring Program (CHP) Grants Management Online Training prompts users to actively navigate through the course’s comprehensive content and media. This design feature allows adult learners the flexibility to determine their own pace and sequence for completing the course. Although COPS Hiring Program (CHP) Grants Management Online Training requires a minimum of 4-6 hours of uninterrupted run-time, participants should expect to spend between 8 and 16 hours to complete the course.
