Mission
Conduct nuclear operations; organize, train, equip and deploy expeditionary forces; and operate, secure and support Kirtland AFB.

· Provide fully mission-capable Airmen conducting nuclear operations
· Ensure unparalleled security safeguarding critical national security assets
· Ensure nuclear certified equipment remains 100% compliant with mission standards
· Conduct robust self-assessment process to minimize unnecessary risk

Properly train and equip Airmen for deployed combat operations
· Provide fully trained Air Expeditionary Force-capable Airmen available for worldwide
duty

Provide excellence in installation support to Kirtland AFB and its mission partners
· Superior installation security and safety
· Boost health care access
· Exceed customer expectations in force support, finance, medical, communications,
civil engineering, and base housing and dormitories

Build Kirtland AFB's esprit de corps
· Enhance Airmen culture through cross-training trips, functions, formation runs and

Preserve and protect the environment and energy resources
· Enhance on-base energy sources to reduce reliance on external power supplies
· Continue to remediate the fuel plume

Centers of Excellence
Kirtland is home to multiple centers of excellence - Nuclear, Space, Directed Energy, Special Operations, Operational Test and Evaluation, Distributed Mission Operations, Safety and Compliance

Personnel
The 377 ABW is made up of approximately 1,200 active-duty military, 700 civilians and 720 contractors assigned to the Medical Group, Mission Support Group, Security Forces Group, Maintenance Group and 12 wing staff agencies.
