The 21st Space Wing Public Affairs staff is responsible for providing the 21st SW leadership with timely and effective public affairs guidance on unit and public issues. We develop communications strategies to accomplish the mission. We help build public trust and support through open and honest dialogue, and highlight the 21st SW, Peterson AFB, and the Air Force as a community partner and responsible steward of resources.
Peterson AFB and the media Peterson Air Force Base is a non-public news gathering forum and as such, all civilian media must have approval and an escort prior to entering the base. The 21st Space Wing PA Operations team typically makes arrangements to meet civilian media prior to their arrival at the Main Gate of Peterson AFB.
Media interested in covering Peterson activities should call 556-5185 to arrange for an escort and for detailed information regarding upcoming media opportunities. The office has a 24-hour on-call PA representative who can be reached through the 21st SW Command Post at 556-4555.
