Flight Photos for 1950
The Korean War began in June of the year and it proved to be the trail by fire for the new service in general and Lackland AFB specifically.
By the end of the year, Headquarters Air Force lifted the recruiting restrictions and had literally opened up the doors for any and all to join the ranks of America's Airmen.
