The Planning and Horizontal Integration Division (C2P) acts as the Center lead in supporting the Command and Control (C2) Service Core Function. C2P conducts capability-based planning, mission thread and architecture analyses and collaborates with multiple stakeholders to identify shortfalls and develop program strategies for tighter integration of Air Force air, space and cyberspace C2 systems. The division also formulates new programs and initiatives enhancing C2 capabilities at the strategic, operational and tactical levels with the end goal of improving Air Force support to joint operations. C2P also leads C2 science and technology requirements analysis and technology transition efforts.
