Eurest Dining Services
As part of it's ongoing commitment to enhance the quality of work/life for it's employees, visitors, and patients, the Division of Amenities and Transportation Services (DATS), oversees the Eurest Dining Services contract for each of their on-campus dining centers. This performance-based contract is constantly monitored by the DATS Project Officer and Quality Assurance Specialist, who perform a multitude of quality inspections and monitoring everyday.
Maryland Business Enterprise Program for the Blind (MBEPB)
As part of is ongoing commitment to enhance the quality of work/life for it employees, visitors, and patients, the Division of Amenities and Transportation Services (DATS) oversees the concession and vending programs performed by the Maryland Business Enterprise Program for the Blind (MBEPB). The MBEPB is a program that is run out of the Maryland Department of Education through the Randolph-Sheppard Act.
The MBEPB vendors operate four dining centers, six concession stands and one coffee bar located on and off the NIH campus. They also are responsible for management oversight of the vending machine program provided on the NIH campus and in many of the leased facilities.
The DATS Project Officer and Quality Assurance Specialist inspect and monitor all of the areas that the MBEPB are tenants of and ensures customer satisfaction with the MBEPB products, services and sites.
