USAID/Southern Africa provides technical support and programmatic input to programs that span across 10 countries in the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) region.  Botswana, Lesotho, and Swaziland do not have bilateral missions, and therefore are considered to be limited-presence countries (LPCs), but have significant levels of HIV/AIDS work carried out by USAID.
