The horrific shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School that killed 20 young children and several of their teachers has stirred the national debate over our nation's gun laws. As we begin a discussion in Congress over commonsense gun safety laws, I would appreciate whether or not you support the following pieces of legislation:

Legislation that would fix the outdated and inefficient federal background check system to ensure that all gun purchases in the United States include background checks. * I support this bill.
