CPT John Teschner is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Loyola University New Orleans where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2007. CPT Teschner was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant through the ROTC program as a Field Artillery Officer in 2007. CPT Teschner is a graduate of the Basic Officer Leader Course, the Field Artillery Basic Officer Leader Course, Paladin Commander Course, and the Field Artillery Captain’s Career Course.
CPT Teschner’s prior assignment was as Battalion Fire Support Officer for 1st Battalion 2nd Infantry Regiment, where he served in Iraq as the Tactical Information Operations Officer and coordinator of all lethal and non-lethal fires in support of the maneuver mission. During his tour in Iraq he spearheaded the Information Operations counter-fire team, which was directly responsible for denying the enemy the ability to conduct indirect fire operations against the Task Force. CPT Teschner’s previous assignments include Company Fire Support Officer B Company, 1st Battalion 2nd Infantry Regiment (172D SIB), Battery Platoon Leader, and Battery Executive Officer, B Battery 1st Battalion 77th Field Artillery (172D SIB) .
CPT Teschner’s awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal (2 OLC), Army Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal (2 CS), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and Overseas Service Ribbon (2).
1SG Robert L. Wilson is a native of Lake City, South Carolina and entered the United States Army as an Infantryman on 21 July 1996. He attended One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Benning, GA.
His previous assignments include the 3rd Battalion 7th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, Fort Stewart, GA where he served as a Team Leader, Squad Leader, Section Sergeant Platoon Sergeant & Brigade Battle NCO. 1SG Wilson’s most recent assignment was with Bravo Company, 4th Battalion 10th Infantry Regiment, and Fort Jackson, SC where he served as a Range NCOIC, Basic Rifle Marksmanship (BRM) Committee Chief, Combat Indoctrination Committee Chief and Battalion Operations SGM.
1SG Wilson has attended all NCOES courses through SLC as well as the Battle Staff Course, Master Resilience Training Course, Field Sanitation Course, and the Combat Life Savers Course.
