COMPANY COMMANDER

CPT Brandon Kohr is a native of Holiday, Florida. He graduated from the University of South Florida and was a Distinguished Military Graduate commissioning in Aviation as a Second Lieutenant.

Upon completion of Flight School in January 2006, CPT Kohr deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom 05-07 with Charlie Company, 4th Battalion, 4th Combat Aviation Brigade as an Attack Company Platoon Leader. He returned from Iraq in November 2006 and was assigned to 1st Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment in Fort Carson, CO. He worked as an Assistant S3 and participated in the Squadron’s rotations to Joint Task Force-North and the National Training Center. In August 2007, CPT Kohr deployed with 1-6 CAV to Operation Iraqi Freedom 07-09 and served as Executive Officer in the 1st Combat Aviation Brigade’s Unmanned Aerial Systems Company. He returned from OIF 07-09 in November 2008 and attended the Aviation Captains Career Course at Fort Rucker, Alabama in May of 2009. He worked as an Assistant Operations Officer in the 193rd BCT prior to assuming command.

CPT Kohr’s civilian and military education includes: A Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Aviation Captains Career Course, Aviation Officer Basic Course, Apache Longbow Flight School 21, SERE B and Airborne School.

CPT Kohr’s awards and decorations include; The Air Medal, the Army Commendation Medal (1 OLC), the Army Achievement Medal, the Iraqi Campaign Medal (1 Bronze Star), the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary and Service Medals, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon, Basic Aviator Wings, and Basic Airborne Wings.

FIRST SERGEANT

First Sergeant Anthony Hunter entered the South Carolina Army National Guard in 1996 and later went on to join active duty in 2000. He attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, SC and then went on to AIT as an 92Y(Unit Supply Specilist).

First Sergeant Anthony Hunter's assignments include, HSC, 62nd Engineer Battalion, Ft Hood, TX where he served as a supply sergeant and unit armorer; he also deployed in support of OEF and OIF I, 832nd Ordinance BN, Redstone Arsenal, AL where he served as a supply sergeant at the AIT schoolhouse, 155th Transportation Company, Fort Eustis, VA as a supply sergeant where he also deployed for 12 months in support of OIF IV and OIF V, Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) Hohenfels, Germany where he was an Logistical Observer/Controller and 1 BN 4 Infantry Regiment as a Battalion S-4 NCOIC, and 2nd Battalion 60th Infantry Regiment Ft Jackson, SC as a Drill Sergeant and currently serving as a First Sergeant (1SG).

His awards include a Meterious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medals (3 oak leaf cluster), Army Achievement Medals (4 oak leaf cluster), Good Conduct Medal (3 knots), Iraq Campaign Medal, Korean Defense Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal. 1SG Hunter earned the Drill Sergeant Badge.
