The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) school system spans the globe from Asia to Europe to the Americas. As part of the Department of Defense Dependents Schools in Europe (DoDDS-E), Kaiserslautern District is one of five school districts. The District Superintendent's Office (DSO) and its 20 schools are located in Germany. Each school is accredited by the North Central Association (NCA) of Schools.
Our Leadership Dr. McMullen comes to the Kaiserslautern district with a solid background centered on excellence in educational opportunities for all children. She recognizes the hard work and accomplishments that have taken place in the district in the past years and she is committed to supporting those as well as taking the district to even higher levels of sophistication and success for students. Dr. Liz Dunham has been involved in education throughout her entire life. She taught junior high school and senior high school for ten years in Iowa and Washington State before joining DoDDS in 1987. At that time, she was hired as a staff developer, and for the next 11 years, she worked with K-12 teachers and administrators on school improvement and effective teaching practices. |
