    On July 31-August 18, 2012, the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy will hold “Uncle Sam’s Summer Reading Camp 2012” at the U.S. Embassy’s American Center Korea and at three American Corners in Gwangju, Busan and Daegu.

    May 12-16, 2010 From May 12-16, American Center Seoul setup and managed a U.S. Embassy booth at the Seoul International Book Fair 2010 held at the COEX Convention Center. During the country’s largest annual publishing-related event, the U.S. Embassy booth attracted upwards of 1,000 visitors each day during the weekdays and several thousand visitors over the weekend....

    Seoul Book Festival 2009

    October 9-11, 2009 American Center Seoul setup and managed a U.S. Embassy booth at the Seoul Book Festival 2009 which held at the Kyunghee palace. The event was originally designed by Seoul Metropolitan Government Office to promote various cultures and books to local public. The U.S. Embassy booth attracted upwards of 300 visitors each day during the event.

    August 1- September 13, 2009 IRC Seoul setup and conducted “Uncle Sam’s Summer Reading Camp 2009” at the National Library for Children and Young Adults and attracted upwards of 5,000 visitors during the program. It was first program for local public to promote U.S. culture including children’s reading culture and U.S. history.  Website »
