2/15/2013 - JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO - RANDOLPH, Texas  -- Below are instructions so you can save all your military records prior to MilPDS going down. They will be saved in a zipped file that you can email to your civilian email and print-out at any time. This will ensure if anything is lost during the downtime, you will have backup copies ready.

1. Log into AF Portal

2. Find and enter "Personnel Records Display Action" (PRDA)

3. Once logged in, it will say your role is Member

4. Click PRDA button on the left side of the screen

5. When the mouse pointer turns to a hand over the words "Entire Personnel Record" Click it

6. All of your records will appear in the window on the right

7. Click Select All button below the window

8. All records will now have a check mark beside them on all pages

9. Click Get Documents button

10. Dialog window will pop up prompting you to save the file to your computer

11. Click Save and proceed as you normally would when saving a file.

For vMPF:

To save your vMPF records, just go through the AF Portal to vMPF, then select
--> Record Review/Update
--> View/Print all Pages. A printer friendly window will open. Right click in the window, select Print. To save as an image (.TIFF file), select Microsoft Office Document from the list of printers and then print. Then changed the name of the file to vMPF E-Records. If you want a hard copy, select the printer you normally use to print and print as you normally would.

You may also want to print your AFFMS (AF Portal --> Fitness) and a SURF (AF Portal--> AMS) since these are required documents when you are doing EPR's and/or Decorations.
