Use of the Region X Discussion Forum?

Is this discussion forum specific only to National Preparedness Month information or is it for other topics relative to the region?  I didn't see any recent activity so wasn't sure ~

You can use this forum for any preparedness topics related to your region. We are just getting things started, so please feel free to kick off the conversation!

This might be a silly question, but I don't see any options to create new discussion threads.  Is that something currently disabled in this forum, or am I just missing something on the page?

I too am new to this site and am wondering how I go about finding who/where in region X is/are doing preparedness events so I can learn how they go about it?

The FEMA HQ NPM Team answered your question already.  I just thought I would congratulate you for being one of the four people (other than FEMA-ites) to post to this discussion board!!

There is also supposed to be a Region 10 discussion board on the Citizen Corps website for all things individual and community preparedness, but it is not currently functioning.  This one is better anyway as it is more open. The Citizen Corps version would (if operating)be limited only to with Admin Users privileges connected with registered Citizen Corps programs.

Get some friend and collegues to sign up so we have more audience partcipation.

People who are preparing for disasters are better off checking in with the survivalist boards than here.
