The United States is looking forward to the Internet 2013 conference being hosted by OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Dunja Mijatovic from February 13-15.

On her last day as secretary of state, Hillary Rodham Clinton announced four new or expanded public-private initiatives valued at up to $86.5 million.

On January 29, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee unanimously approved Kerry as the next secretary of state, and a few hours later the full Senate voted overwhelmingly to confirm him for the job.
