A chaplain his assistant and a truck?

On the left Tech. Sgt. Jeffrey Preece, chaplain's assistant at the 440th Airlift Wing, Pope Field, N.C. helps prepare a batch of hot coco for Airmen working on on the flightline. He was assisted by Mr. John Shoulars. Mr. Shoulars is the assistant manager at the Kitty Hawk dinning facility on Pope Field. Every Tuesday and Thursday the chaplain's office takes their ministry to the flightline to share some time with Airmen while enjoying a hot or cold drink and some snacks. Chaplains and their little white truck

Chaplain William Fisher and chaplain's assistant Tech. Sgt. Jeffrey Preece, from the 440th Airlift Wing's chaplain's office, Pope Field, N.C. take their ministry to the flightline. Every Tuesday and Thursday the chaplains load up their truck with beverages and snack to pay a visit the the Airmen who perform day-to-day maintenance on the C-130H aircrafts. The little white truck has become a very familair and welcome addition to the 440 personnel. The visit provides Airmen a chance to get to know their chaplain's as well as the personnel they work along side. Over a cup of hot chocolate and a sweet snack casual conversation arises providing Airmen with a pleasant break from their maintenance routines. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Kevin Brody)

Airmen from the 440th Airlift Wing navigate their way through the line of food at the 3rd annual Pig-Pickin barbecue at Pope Park on Pope Air Force Base, N.C., May 1, 2010.
