Mission Director

Lawrence HardyLawrence Hardy II is a Senior Foreign Service Officer with 20 years of experience with the United States Agency for International Development – USAID. He has served multiple tours in Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and South America. Most recently, Mr. Hardy was the Senior Deputy Mission Director at USAID in Pakistan, where he managed a $1.3 billion per year assistance program and more than 200 development professionals. Prior to joining USAID, he was a Management Consultant for a firm that developed economic diversification strategies for Pacific Rim countries. Mr. Hardy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley. In addition to conversational Portuguese, he speaks Spanish, Thai, French, and Arabic.
