Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship Program

Cardiovascular Disease

The San Antonio Uniformed Health Services Consortium (SAUSHEC) sponsors the largest military fellowship program in cardiovascular diseases. Located in San Antonio, Texas, this program supports a three year training program based at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) and Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (WHASC). Fellows have the opportunity to train at the busiest cardiovascular educational program in the Army and Air Force using the latest medical technology available. Upon successful completion of the program, fellows will be prepared to sit for the American Board of Internal Medicine Cardiovascular diseases board examination.
