Geek Alert! Popular Science is out with its annual 100 Best Innovations of the Year. Reliability cool any year, this year’s list is also notable for a number of innovations that stand to make technology more accessible and lives easier for the disabled.
A few of my personal favorites:
Alan Gregerman, author of Surrounded by Geniuses once said, “Like Benjamin Franklin, we have to stand in a storm to be truly inspired (or electrified)”. He could have been talking about just such a list. Onward and upward!
You rock Pam! Had no idea about half of this stuff! Geek alert, indeed!
I would consider HTML 5 to be more a set back then an innovation as it does not allow for massive development beyond that. I would go so far as to point out that Apple's HTML 5 demonstration are mostly done with other programing codes besides HTML 5 including Java and Flash.
First of all, Good article. Here I would like say some words. Augmented Reality IS the future of Application Development, but the first the problem that comes is from where would we get horse-power (specs I mean) in a phone for a perfect AR game?
Look for example, "ARhrrrr!" an AR game that is still under development. I am sure it wouldnt be released any time soon because there is NO device right now that can handle it smoothly. Other android augmented reality games like given in this article:-

arent yet what we can call as true AR!
