News from the School NurseDear Parents and Students, Beginning the first day of school year 2010-2011, all students who attend DoDEA schools must have two doses of the Varicella vaccine after the age of 1 year and spaced at least 4 to 8 weeks apart. At the time of your child's physical, please have them receive a 2nd Varicella vaccination if they have not already had it. Current students requiring additional immunizations have 30 school days to meet immunization requirements for their age/grade level. A letter will be sent home with your child reminding you that your child needs immunizations. Request: Please send any extra boys/girls sweatpants or jeans that you could donate to our clothing locker. Also, if your child borrows clothing from the locker, please wash and return it to school. We always appreciate your support! |
