Captain Paul F Henderson Jr. is a native of Mobile, Alabama. Upon graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Field Artillery in June 2002. A Four Year Letterman and Two Time All Conference USA Football Player; Captain Henderson was selected to be the Assistant Athletic Director for The United States Military Academy Preparatory School (USMAPS) at Fort Monmouth, NJ from June 2002 to December 2002. Captain Henderson then attended the Field Artillery Officer Basic Course (FAOBC) from January 2003 to June 2003. After completing FAOBC, Captain Henderson was then assigned to be the Battery XO for Delta Battery, 1st Battalion, and 22nd Filed Artillery at Fort Sill Oklahoma.

In October 2004 Captain Henderson deployed to the republic of Korea (ROK) and was assigned to the 2nd Infantry Div, HQ. While in Korea CPT Henderson served as the lead action officer in charge of the division’s transformation to a Unit of Employment (UEx). In September of 2005 Captain Henderson returned to the United States and attended the Field Artillery Captain’s Career Course (FACCC). Upon completion Captain Henderson deployed to Baghdad, Iraq as the Fires/Effects Advisor for 0913 Military Transition Team (MiTT) from August 2006 to September 2007. After re-deployment, Captain Henderson was assigned to the 1st Battalion (AASLT), 377th Filed Artillery Regiment where he served as the Battalion Assistant S-3 from October 2007 to May 2008. From May 2008 to July 2009 Captain Henderson served as the Commander of Bravo Battery, 1st Bn (AASLT), 377FAR. After command, Captain Henderson deployed to Basra, Iraq where he served as the 17th Fires Brigade Chief of Operations (CHOPS) from July 2009 to July 2010. CPT Henderson reported to Fort Jackson in SEP 2010 where he is currently serving as the 2-13 Infantry Assistant S-3.

Captain Henderson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in American Legal Studies from the United States Military Academy at West Point. His professional military education includes the Filed Artillery Officer Basic Course and Field Artillery Captain’s Career Course.

Captain Henderson’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (with Oak Leaf Cluster), Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (with Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Achievement Medal (with Oak Leaf Cluster), Korean Defense Service Medal, the Combat Action Badge, and the Parachutist Badge.

Delta Company First Sergeant

First Sergeant Williams joined the Army in October 1990. He has served in the positions of Rifleman, Anti Armor Specialist, Grenadier, Bradley Fighting Vehicle Gunner and Bradley Fighting Vehicle Commander, Rifle team Leader, Squad Leader, Section Leader, Platoon Sergeant, and a Team NCOIC of an MITT Team.

1SG Williams schools include Basic Training, Infantry Training, Anti Armor Course, Combat Life Saver Course, Field Sanitation Course, Warrior Leader Course, Basic and Advance Non Commissioned Officer Courses, Equal Opportunity Representative Course, and Advance Military Transition Team Course.
