Greetings from FOXTROT COMPANY, 2/60th.

I would like to take the time to welcome all the family and friends of a Foxtrot warrior to the Foxtrot Family. Your warrior’s military roots begin here at Foxtrot. They will never forget their Drill Sergeants, their Battle Buddies, or the lessons they learned here- sometimes the hard way. We turn civilians into confident and adaptable US Army soldiers. The cadre of Foxtrot Company take our mission very seriously and we are good at what we do. Basic Training is not easy for your warrior. It is physically, mentally, and emotionally tough. I encourage you, as family and friends, to write to your warrior to encourage them to do their best and let them know that you support them in their decision to become a part of the greatest Army in the world.

As the commander of this company, I assure you that your warrior will be taken care of and safety is paramount in every training event we conduct. The drill sergeants of this company are experts and professionals and training and taking care of warriors is what they do best. Upon graduation, your warrior will leave Foxtrot Company with the basis of soldiering skills to live, think, and fight like a soldier.

The Scout’s Out Battalion is now on Facebook. I encourage each of you to join the 2nd Battalion, 60th Infantry Regiment Scouts Out Group. Here you will find updates on training and pictures. We have a very dedicated support group that will do their best to answer any questions you may have.

I will always place the mission first. I will never accept defeat. I will never quit. I will never leave a fallen comrade.
