The Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) is an advisory council to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff with the responsibility to: (1) Identify and assess the priority of joint military requirements;(2) Consider alternatives to acquisition programs; and (3) Assign priority among military programs, ensuring priorities reflect resource levels.
