NABIR ORFRC accomplishments and findings

Microbiology of Subsurface Materials

This aspect of NABIR ORFRC research focused on what is known, and what gaps in knowledge persist, with regard to factors affecting the ability of subsurface microbial communities to reduce or immobilize metals and radionuclides.

A report on activities of this working group summarizes the findings of a suite of NABIR ORFRC researchers.

A series of presentations detail NABIR activities centering on the microbiology subsurface materials at the ORFRC.
