Landsat 5 Resumes Operations: Solar Array Drive Problem Resolved

Jan. 20, 2006 • USGS and NASA engineers were able to alter the normal operating procedures for the L5 back-up solar array drive, enabling the array to provide adequate power for the mission to resume.
