Our Research Projects
NCCOS scientists sampling for water and seafloor life provides agencies and states baseline data
on areas proposed for oil and gas surveys and drilling. Decision makers seek solid scientific
input as they craft oil and gas policies and meet Clean Water Act and state mandates.
