WELCOME!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! We will strive to make this pregnancy enjoyable for both you and your family. We hope the general information provided for you in this web site answers any questions you may have about our clinic.

  • During your pregnancy we would like to encourage whole family participation. Your children may transition to the role of brother/sister easier if they have been involved in the prenatal care. When bringing children to the prenatal visit please bring another adult to assist with the supervision of the children under 12. Per hospital policy, children under 12 must be supervised at all times for their safety. Since this appointment is for your benefit, you may need to be seen alone for part of the exam, at which time the children will be asked to go back to the waiting area. Please be considerate of the other patients.

  • Please for the health of others, only bring WELL children to the clinic. We would prefer that you do NOT bring children requiring supervision to the following types of appointments:

    • Your first OB visit. We want to concentrate on YOU. This appointment includes a pelvic exam, which will make supervision complicated.
    • Your 28 week OB visit. You will spend an extra hour here for lab work.
    • Sick call or acute care visits.
    • Evaluation at Labor & Delivery

  • Remember: You must always have a back-up plan for someone to pick up your child should you need to stay longer than anticipated (i.e. for observation, fetal testing or for evaluation of labor).
