The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) headquartered in Glynco, Georgia, services more than 81 federal agencies and provides training to state, local, and international police. As an interagency training organization, FLETC has assembled the finest professionals from diverse backgrounds to serve on its faculty and staff. The center graduates approximately 50,000 students annually and is the largest law enforcement-training establishment in the country, training the majority of the nation’s federal officers and agents. FLETC offers basic, advanced, international, and agency-specific training. In addition, FLETC offers state and local training in programs not generally available from state and local police academies, colleges, or universities. FLETC’s National Center for State and Local Law Enforcement trains personnel in advanced topics designed to develop specialized law enforcement skills.
