The Community Policing Dispatch is the e-newsletter of the COPS Office. It aims to educate readers about a variety of criminal justice issues that affect the implementation of community policing and to assist law enforcement practitioners in more effectively addressing crime and social disorder in their communities. It has twice been honored by the National Association of Government Communicators, with Gold Screen awards for outstanding e-Newsletter (2009) and Web Article (2010).
