A number of mental health professionals are at the forefront of a new wave of Army behavioral health care that's bringing providers to Soldiers, wherever they are.

This hand-sizing tool, developed by Stacey Lee of Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center and Masley Enterprises, will standardize glove sizing for Soldiers. When a close friend committed suicide, a junior Army officer from Fort Lee, Va., opened her eyes to how active leadership and genuinely caring for fellow troops can help prevent suicide in the military.

On Sept. 11, 2001, hijacked American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the western side of the Pentagon at 9:37 a.m., killing 184 people and eventually causing a partial collapse of the building. Mere minutes after the impact, the District of Columbia National Guard mobilized.
