Flight Photos for 1986
The Basic Military Training School experienced shortages throughout 1986 with assigned manning dropping steadily from 648 in January to 578 by December. At first, it appeared that MTI manning was adequate based on a comparison of trainee loads to assigned instructors, however, the Manpower office failed to account for a number of situations that would affect the MTI population that ultimately caused a number of long-standing issues.
