I'm honored and humbled for the opportunity to serve with and for the mighty Third Army/ARCENT team. My wife Carol and I have been busy settling in and exploring the Shaw/Sumter community and we are both very impressed with the friendly people at every turn. It's impressive to see all of the banners displayed throughout Sumter that welcome the 3rd Army.

"Before leaving my last duty station in Iraq I had the chance to spend a couple of days meeting some of our team members in Kuwait, I'm looking forward to getting out and about to meet the rest of the team here and throughout the area of operation.

"I want to thank the former "Lucky 7" and his wife Cindy for their long and honorable career serving our great Army and Nation. The great work that CSM Fourhman has done for this command will certainly leave a lasting positive impact.
