As your 8th District Representative in the U.S. House of Representatives, each year I have the privilege of nominating a limited number of people to four of the five service academies.The U.S. military service academies are seeking highly motivated, well-rounded applicants who excel not only academically, but also in athletics, leadership and service. If you have a strong will to achieve, desire a real challenge, and want to be a leader serving your country, the opportunity of a lifetime could begin for you at the service academies. Graduation from one of the academies opens a world of opportunities and is one of the greatest adventures you could possibly imagine.
