Welcome

Administrative and support functions include briefings, in-processing and assisting students, and ensuring that the international students are prepared for their academic programs. IMSO training functions include monitoring IMS academic progress during their time at the Medical School, and coordinating with the academic departments to provide assistance as needed. Other training functions include briefing cadre and staff on the security assistance program and the particulars of working with IMS, coordinating with academic sponsors and delineating their responsibilities, and providing professional development training and orientation opportunities for IMSO staff. Finally, it is the responsibility of the IMSO to execute the Field Studies Program (FSP) so that international students return to their homelands with an understanding of the responsibilities of governments, militaries, and citizens to protect, preserve and respect the rights of every individual.
